Aishwarya Rai's father was a marine engineer and her mother was a teacher at Mangalore. When Ash was about 4 years old her family moved to Mumbai. Aishwarya Rai did her schooling at Arya Vidhya Mandir, Santacruz, Mumbai. She always wanted to become an Architected and for that she joined OG Ruparel Collage, Matunga , Mumbai. Through all her academic carrier, Ash was very much focused on her studies, excelling every matter and became Head girl of her school. Ash's native language is Tulu, with that she also knows English, Hindi, Kannada, Tamil, Urdu and Marathi. While studying architected, Ash moved gracefully to her modeling carrier.
